Los chus de los Mixtecas

Today at the Museo Regional there was an exhibition of Converse painted by Mixteca artists illustrating various legends.  Some of the artist were present, painting shoes and carving wood on the spot.  Colin was particularly drawn to a pair of Chucks that depicted a snake eating a rabbit.  Throw that situation in a meat grinder and what do you have?  The rattlesnake and rabbit sausage, one mythical dish from Wurstkuche.  Those shoes make us hungry!
